Laboratory TechnologistSpecific work responsibilities: Performs a variety of Clinical Pathology lab tests following MHS procedures; ensures testing performed meets regulatory requirements. Performs some outpatient phlebotomy. Mandatory qualifications: Associate degree in Science from an accredited institution. Registers or Registry eligible with ASCP.Network access and or applications needed: Epic is utilized for both physician order entry and as the lab information systems. Required Licenses/Certifications: MLS (ASCP), NT (ASCP) or MLT (ASCP)Preferred Qualifications: Ability to work independently in a critical care/ED laboratory setting. **Knowledge of general instrumentation and lab computer systems are needed. Work Environment/Physical Requirements: Generalist lab environment where both automated and manual testing is performed. Works as the only tech in lab for majority of time. Special Considerations: Knowledge of general instrumentation and lab computer systems are needed.
