Job DescriptionDivision Laundry Oklahoma, LLCJob Title: Human Resources Manager FLSA Status: ExemptDepartment: OfficeReports to: General ManagerApproved by: Patricia Garcia LunaApproved date: August 2024Job SummaryThe Human Resources Manager is responsible for Human Resources, Safety and Office ManagementEssential Job Duties and ResponsibilitiesThe Human Resources Manager may perform some or all of the following duties during a given shift:
- Review applications and schedule interviews
- Onboarding of new employees by following new hire process
- New hire orientation, including but not limited to all safety training, company policies, and regulations
- Create and maintain employee files and records, including electronic and paper files
- Ensure payroll is accurate and complete for processing by the deadline
- Ensure all Human Resources paperwork is completed accurately and timely, include but not limited to payroll changes, sick and vacation pay, terminations, and disciplinary action
- Promote and support Company policies
- Conduct Safety training as needed, including annual training
- Provide guidance regarding disciplinary action according to Company standards
- Assist employees as needed
- Assist with resolving any conflicts
- Assist with open enrollments for benefits
- Conduct safety observations on a routine basis and report findings in writing to appropriate Managers/Directors
- Assist in reporting and preparing required paperwork for on-the-job injuries
- Assist with injuries investigations
- Work with supervisors to ensure employees are aware of dangers and hazards of the job
- Work with supervisors to ensure compliance with all Company policies
- Demonstrates friendly and respectful behavior in the work environment
- Ability to maintain inventory and ordering of supplies
Minimum Qualifications
- Ability to read, write and comprehend English
- Quality orientation and high attention to detail
- Able to manage multiple tasks and priorities and easily adapt to changing situations
- Strong teamwork skills- ready and willing to work closely with team members
- Pass a background check and drug screen, in accordance with applicable laws.
- Competency of computer and software
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of information
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels within the company and office staff
- Possess effective work habits and ability to build and maintain working relationships
- Ability to work under deadlines
- The position requires the ability to communicate in person and telephonically.
Preferred Qualifications
- 1 year Human Resources experience
- 1 year Safety experience
- 1 year clerical experience
- Strongly preferred: Bilingual in English/Spanish
- Experience in fast paced multitasking environment
Physical Requirements.
- Light to moderate physical effort (lift/carry 5 to 25 pounds)
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

- Required to wear and use personal protective equipment as needed
- Ability to hear for safety and awareness of surroundings.

- Ability to move inside or outside of office space to access file cabinets, copy machine and attend meetings.
Work EnvironmentMainly working in an office environment. Production areas of a typical industrial laundry facility, which includes working with and around large machinery, variations in temperature (non-air-conditioned work area), noise, humidity, and other hazards.
