Job DescriptionOn-Call Art Instructors play a vital role in the Tang teaching Museum's Educational mission. Responsibilities include facilitating discussions, and leading art-making workshops, facilitating K-12 school tours and site visits in K-12 classrooms, facilitating library programs summer programs, and assisting with Family Saturday programs.On-the-Job TrainingAll On-Call Art Instructors will be trained in facilitation, including Visual Thinking Strategies (VTS). They will be educated about current and upcoming exhibitions and trained to lead hands-on art-making projects.Minimum RequirementsThe person filling this position should enjoy working with school aged (K-12) children and feel comfortable facilitating discussion and teaching. Ideal candidates will have experience working with children and be open to learning and trying new skills. Email literacy is necessary.Required documents needed to apply:
