Location: Saint Paul,MN, USA
Part-time, on-call position to provide audio visual (AV) support at times when the workload demands additional staff.
What will I do in this position?
Essential job responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Set up audio and visual equipment as scheduled for event use.
* Operate audio and visual equipment as needed.
* Aid users in operating audio and visual equipment as needed.
* Process equipment for production requests.
* Maintain equipment as qualified and as needed.

Secondary job responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Assist with other duties as assigned by AV Services Technician.
What will it take to succeed in this position?
Minimum Education and Experience:
* High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
* Minimum 2 years experience with AV systems, variety of video presentation equipment, and live audio engineering
* Continually nurture a personal relationship with Jesus Christ; serve as a consistent witness for Jesus Christ; maintain a kind, Christ-like attitude in dealing with and ministering to people within and outside of Northwestern; and faithfully uphold and embrace Northwestern's mission, doctrinal statement, and Declaration of Christian Community.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
* Ability to provide exceptional customer service to faculty, staff, co-workers and outside customers
* Ability to maintain a flexible schedule, working evenings, and weekends
* Ability to climb ladders and work from heights
* Ability to physically lift up to 60 pounds
* Ability to understand and operate the basic functions of a video camera
* Demonstrated troubleshooting and problem solving skills
* Ability to demonstrate a team attitude and approach to work
* Ability to work without close supervision
* Basic knowledge of sound equipment, wiring and electricity
* Knowledge and understanding of advanced computer skills
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Ability to pass the background check upon hire and periodically throughout the course of employment
