Hilton Short Pump is seeking hospitality-minded people to work as Servers in our Banquet Department.This is an ON CALL position, without a regular schedule. Shifts will vary and might include evenings and weekends. It's ideal for students or others who haveflexible schedules and want to pick up extra work. Starting pay is $14.50 per hour or higher depending on experience. The position requires the capability to effectively communicate with guests and team members and the flexibility to work various schedules. Job Description:
- Set up side station and perform side work as assigned
- Set up banquet room per client and management expectations
- Provide excellent service and attention to all guests
- Serve beverages and meals according to standards
- Remove soiled plates and glassware
- Clear tables
- Perform other clean up or related duties as needed
Qualifications:
- Devotion to providing excellent guest service.
- Positive attitude and teamwork skills.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to follow verbal directions in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Ability to lift 25-50 pounds and stand on your feet for an entire shift.
- Must agree to have a pre-employment background check completed.
