- Interact with guests in a friendly and courteous manner, taking drink orders, offering recommendations, and addressing any questions or concerns they may have.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization behind the bar area, including proper storage of beverages, glassware, and bar tools.
- Adhere to all safety and sanitation guidelines, including responsible alcohol service practices, to ensure the well-being of our guests and staff.
- Monitor and control inventory levels, ordering supplies as needed and minimizing waste to optimize efficiency and profitability.
- Collaborate with other members of the hotel staff, including servers, kitchen staff, and management, to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.
- Participate in training sessions and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge of beverages and hospitality trends.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working as a bartender in a hotel, restaurant, or similar hospitality setting required.
- Extensive knowledge of different types of beverages, including cocktails, wines, and spirits, as well as mixing techniques and garnishes.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to interact confidently and professionally with guests and colleagues.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- TIPS or similar certification for responsible alcohol service is a plus.
