The Salvation Army in Albuquerque, NM is looking to fill an On-Call Floating Store Manager position. The successful candidate for this position will be good with people and have excellent organizational skills, a demonstrated ability to merchandise product and to produce effective sales.

The Store Manager will supervise staff with respect to performance of duties to ensure compliance with directives and guidelines. This position will ensure smooth running of all store operations including but not limited to customer relations, stocking of new product, ensuring cleanliness and neatness of the store and following daily income handling procedures. This person will ensure current work schedules are posted at the store and sent to administrative office and timecards are accurate, signed and submitted in a timely manner. This position will also ensure all truck deliveries are received with appropriate manifest, that OSHA guidelines are followed and assist sorters/warehouse workers as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

* Minimum of two years supervisory experience

* Minimum of six months as a manager trainee or similar experience

* Experience scheduling staff

* Must have people skills and organizational skills

* Demonstrated ability to merchandise product and to produce effective sales

* Ability to work with the public in a professional manager

* Ability to mentor and train beneficiaries

* Customer service mindset

* Team player with a spirit of cooperation and work with all others towards goals set by management

* Valid in-state drivers license, with a clean MVR

* Employment contingent upon successful completion of a background check

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Must have the ability to operate telephone, a desktop or laptop computer, as well as the ability to understand written information.
