Monmouth University is seeking applications for On-Call Nurse Practitioners in the Health Center.
The candidate would be expected to: conduct patient assessment, diagnosis and treatment for patients presenting to the Health Center with illness or injury; treatment is in accordance with evidence-based practice; within the scope of licensure for N.J. advanced practice nurses and in conjunction with Joint Protocols of Practice; perform specimen collection including phlebotomy and conduct CLIA-waived testing for samples collected; order diagnostic tests as appropriate to presenting condition; review, evaluate and provide treatment based upon diagnostic findings.

Special Instructions to Applicants:
On-call NP's may be called to work during the academic semester weeks, September to May; on either the 8:00 am - 4:00 pm shift or 11:00 am - 7:00 pm shift; no weekends.

Master of Science in Nursing (MSN). Current NJ licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) and Advanced Practice Nurse (APN).
Clinical experience in an ambulatory or similar setting with an adolescent and/or adult population.
Ability to diagnose and prescribe for common, acute episodic illness and injury.
