Position SummaryAs a part-time or adjunct faculty member, teach courses within the following key areas of Food Science:
- Food Processing and Engineering
- Food Microbiology and Safety
- Food Chemistry
- Sensory Evaluation
- Product Development
Specific courses taught will be determined as needed by the department. An applicant is not required to possess expertise in all above-noted Food Science areas, though a breadth of knowledge and experience across multiple topic areas is beneficial. This position is an interest list for future adjunct teaching opportunities. Applications will be reviewed by the department periodically and all candidates will be notified by email if they are chosen to interview for a position.
Knowledge, Skills, and ExperienceBachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred. A strong commitment to excellence in teaching is advantageous.
