The position will require a skilled individual with good agility and no fear of heights, as this person will be required to climb. This individual will be responsible for maintaining safe and efficient grain facilities. Other duties include ensuring optimum grain quality and inventory record keeping, safety of personnel, and personnel supervision, including operations training, mentoring, and personal development in grain handling safety for all farm employees. The grain leg is modern, with 1.3 million bushels and additional bins in the area to add more storage as needed in good years. During slow times, you may be assisting with the farming operation, spraying, irrigation, or other areas of the farm. Pay is by the hour and will start at $25-$30/hour depending on experience.
