- Prepare requests for proposals
- Perform monthly or bi-monthly property inspections for reporting requirements
- Produce a monthly action list
- Process invoices
- Perform quality control of vendor's performance
- Work closely with the Board of Directors and committee members
- Understanding of association governing documents
- Candidate must be extremely organized have the ability to handle multiple tasks
- Managing people
- Preparation and presentation of budgets
- Routine architectural knowledge and inspections are a plus
- Coordinate and attend board meetings as contractually required
- Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Service bids and contractor supervision
- Produce Management reports and prepare agendas for Board Meetings
- Be available for after-hour emergency maintenance calls for the property
RequirementsSkills/experience needed to be successful:
- Must be licensed as a Community Manager through the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation
- Prefer CMCA, AMS or PCAM designations
- 3 years of experience as a Community Manager preferred
- Consultation and problem-solving skills
- Ability to adapt to change
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
- Possess excellent communication skills combined with a thoroughly professional presentation
- Strong customer service orientation
- A team player with good business skills
- Someone who is self-motivated and who will go the extra mile for our company and our clients
- Prior experience in your own community or HOA is a plus
- Possess an ability to read and understand a financial report
- Facilities and project management experience a plus
