Job Description:

  • 84 months of experience writing complex SQL for queries, stored procedures/triggers/functions in DB2/Oracle for data extraction and data integration purposes in multi-terabyte database.
  • 84 months of experience in gathering reporting and analysis requirements and translating them into reporting structure data models, including aggregate tables, pivoted tables, and relational and dimensional (star-schema) marts.
  • 84 months of experience with data modeling, including logical, conceptual, and physical modeling of data warehouse projects and data warehouse loading techniques (Change Data Capture (CDC) and Slowly Changing Dimensions).
  • 84 months of experience with various reporting tools, including COGNOS.
  • 84 months of experience working on ETL framework for data warehouse projects, which includes Informatica / Data stage tools
  • 56 months of experience working with the Affordable Care Act or Medicaid.
  • 48 months of experience working with OSC and KPMG auditors for analyzing and debugging Enrollment and Eligibility data.
  • 48 Months of experience with Medicaid Data Warehouse (MDW).
  • Bachelor s Degree in Information Technology or Computer Science or similar field of study.

Detailed Job Description: New York State of Health (NYSoH) is New York's official health plan marketplace established by Executive Order No. 42. The temporary personnel services requested are needed to support the on-going design and development of information technology systems consistent with enrollment goals and federal and state law and rules. The Database Architect will work closely with NYSoH program staff, vendors, auditors, and other stakeholders to define requirements for the NYSoH and in Operations and Maintenance of the system. The Database Architect will apply a wide range of specialized knowledge, skills, tools, and techniques to elicit, analyze, communicate, and validate requirements for the NYSoH and to troubleshoot production issues
