On-Site Warehouse Supervisor Sylvania, Georgia Introduction We are seeking a dedicated On-Site Warehouse Supervisor to oversee and coordinate the daily warehousing activities at our distribution center. As a pivotal figure in our logistics chain, you will implement production, productivity, quality, and customer service standards, ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our warehouse. Job Responsibilities - Oversee daily warehouse operations and manage warehouse staff to ensure efficient and safe workflow. - Schedule and coordinate staff shifts to meet warehouse demands and manage timekeeping for payroll purposes. - Enforce safety regulations and ensure that the work environment complies with OSHA and other relevant standards. - Monitor inventory levels and conduct regular physical counts to verify stock and identify discrepancies. - Coordinate the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods in a timely and accurate manner. - Implement and oversee quality control measures to ensure that products are received, stored, and shipped according to company standards. - Train new warehouse staff on standard operating procedures, safety protocols, and the use of equipment. - Resolve any issues or complaints that arise related to warehouse operations. - Foster a positive work environment and team culture, and address personnel issues in a timely and professional manner. Job Requirements -Bilingual, English/Spanish - Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field preferred - Minimum of 3 years' experience in warehouse management or a supervisory role within a distribution environment - Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), data entry systems, and Microsoft Office Suite - Proven experience with inventory management, including stocking, storage, and cycle counting - Familiarity with health and safety regulations and the ability to enforce compliance among team members - Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail for managing warehouse operations and maintaining accurate records - Strong communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with staff, vendors, and management - Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays if necessary - Physical ability to frequently lift and move heavy objects - Problem-solving skills and the ability to handle the fast-paced and demanding environment of a warehouse - Capability to manage and oversee shipping and receiving operations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness - Commitment to continuous improvement and the pursuit of operational excellence Pay: Starting at $20 per hour
