POSITION SUMMARY STATEMENT:
The 2nd shift OJT Trainer supports all operations departments through the development, implementation and maintenance of all training programs as they relate to manufacturing. The OJT Trainer ensures consistency and integrity of employee training and certification. This position will ensure employees are provided with accurate and effective work instructions and other documentation critical to the performance of their jobs and in compliance with FDA, cGMP and other regulatory agencies.
DETAILED RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:
Assess relevant training needs for staff and the facility in consultation with department heads, including assessment methods and measurement systems. Support department supervisors and managers to ensure that SOP training of all employees is kept current and in compliance. Keep supervisor/manager informed of trainees progress; coach/re-train where needed to improve performance. Complete ongoing training with all of assigned area personnel to refresh current operators skill set and validate skills are current. Assist with the development of tests and exams that adequately measure a trainees comprehension of the subject matter through verbal, written and physical demonstrations of the training material. Assist with the development of training aids such as manuals and handbooks. Execute training plans for individual employees. Facilitate learning through a variety of delivery methods including classroom instruction, virtual training, and on-the-job coaching. Prepare training materials using various software programs. Monitor and maintain complete, accurate and current training records. Ensure all training activities and materials meet with relevant organizational, statutory, federal, state and regulatory agencies and laws. Able and available to provide training on all shifts as needed and on weekends as required. Participate in developmental programs (i.e. Train-the-Trainer, Effective Training, refresher training, etc.) as required by the Training Department. Request system access for new and existing employees (Agile, EBR, Telnet) Regularly partner with Leads and Supervisors to update SOPs Investigate and correct practices that do not adhere with HIM WS SOPs Work with Training Specialist to administer and evaluate Skill Assessments for hourly employees Coordinate on-going development of Line/Mfg. Trainers Perform additional duties as assigned.

Experience:
At least 2 years of experience in a GMP manufacturing environment 2 years of cross-functional experience in the assigned (i.e. Manufacturing, Packaging, etc.) area OR 1 year of cross-functional experience in the assigned (i.e. Manufacturing, Packaging, etc.) area AND completion of Skills Assessments A and B Performing audits on training needs Knowledge of training methodologies Education:
Associates degree or equivalent training and development work experience
