Job Description:
Annual Salary: $50,000The Onboarding Specialist is responsible for ensuring a smooth and positive transition for new SML MKRs joining Nuvia. This role involves designing and implementing comprehensive onboarding programs, coordinating orientation sessions, and providing support to new SML MKRs as they acclimate to Nuvia's culture and processes. The Onboarding Specialist works closely with the Employee Relations team, hiring managers, and new SML MKRs to create a welcoming and informative onboarding experience.Responsibilities:Refine and execute an effective onboarding program that aligns with Nuvia goals and values.Create and maintain onboarding materials, such as welcome packets, training manuals, and orientation agendas.Serve as the primary point of contact for new SML MKRs, addressing questions and concerns during the onboarding process.Facilitate the completion of necessary documentation, including licensure, employment contracts, benefits enrollment, and tax forms.Collaborate with the necessary team and hiring managers to ensure new SML MKRs have the necessary resources, equipment, and access to systems on their first day.Monitor and track the progress of new SML MKRs during the onboarding period, providing feedback and support as needed.Gather feedback from new SML MKRs and managers to continuously improve the onboarding process.Stay updated on best practices and trends in onboarding to ensure the program remains current and effective.Collect and report on positional data to ensure compliance and alignment within SML MKRs hiring process.Assist Onboarding Manager with employee experience projects.Results:Successful integration of new SML MKRs into Nuvia.High levels of new SML MKR satisfaction and engagement.All employees are added into HRIS.Complete background checks prior to employee start date.Timely completion of onboarding documentation and training.Positive feedback from new SML MKRs and hiring managers regarding the onboarding experience.Reduced time-to-productivity for new SML MKRs.Continuous improvement of the onboarding program based on feedback and best practices.Requirements:Experience with UKG ProProven experience in onboarding or a related role.Strong organizational and time management skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Proficiency in HR software and Google Suite.Ability to create engaging and informative onboarding materials.Strong attention to detail and accuracy.Ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders and teams.Knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and best practices in onboarding.Passion for creating a positive and supportive onboarding experience for new employees.Benefits:Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, Long/Short Term Disability InsurancesPaid TrainingPaid Time OffPaid HolidaysPaid Parental/Bereavement Leave401k matchEmployee Assistance
