About This Role: The Onboarding Specialist plays an essential role to Accra programs by sourcing and hiring support staff that are critical to ensure Accra clients are able to manage their care plans and services. The Specialist will facilitate and oversee applications and background studies to ensure an efficient and effective hiring process. The Onboarding Specialist will also support clients in the recruiting of Direct Support Professionals as needed. **This position requires you to be in office for at least 2-3 days per week for the first 30-60 days while training and onboarding. After that, you will be required to be in office 1 day per week** Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a healthcare or human services field or 2-3 years of equivalent work experience.
- Experience with recruiting and onboarding employees a plus.
- Experience working with Waivered Services and/or PCA Homecare services a plus.
- Experience working in collaboration with multiple departments and staff.
- Intermediate computer skills including internal office and organizational software (MS Office), and the ability to gain proficiency with Accra specific systems.
- Demonstrate creativity, critical thinking skills, problem-solving skills, and emotional intelligence.
- Have excellent organizational, problem solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to empathetically communicate challenging concepts both in-person, over the phone, and via electronic communication.
- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality; handling and processing confidential and sensitive information in a professional manner.
- Ability to adapt to rapid change and work effectively in a fast pace environment.
- Must pass a background study with the Minnesota Department of Human Services.
- Have a valid driver's license, clean driving record and reliable transportation to use for work driving purposes.
