Onboarding Specialist (Third Party & Risk)Location: Hybrid (3 days/week - Tues, Weds) NYC Financial DistrictBusiness Group: U.S. Internal Control - NYAProject: Supporting RemediationJob Description:The Onboarding Specialist will play a critical role in effectively managing third-party risks. This position involves conducting due diligence assessments, partnering with key stakeholders, and maintaining strong relationships with third-party vendors.Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive third-party service due diligence and risk assessments
- Collaborate with business units, operations, technology, risk management, and other stakeholders to understand business needs and gather essential information
- Maintain ongoing relationships with third-party vendors
- Lead various projects and undertake additional assigned duties
- Contribute to efficient operations by ensuring adherence to internal controls and regulatory requirements
Required Skills and Experience:
- 3+ years of experience in Third Party Risk Management
- Recent experience working in a large financial institution
- Intermediate proficiency in Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP)
- 5+ years of experience in an onboarding capacity
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
Preferred Skills:
- MS Access experience
- Strong project management skills
- High attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience with third-party risk tools (Coupa, etc.)
- A proactive, team-oriented attitude
