false false false EN-US JA AR-SA false false false EN-US JA AR-SA Summary:The Part-Time Online Admissions Specialist is responsible for identifying, informing, and helping prospective students applying to Sonoran's online programs. The Online Admissions Specialist is responsible for the student experience after they've applied to the school and coordinates efforts with our online partner to help in the documentation and interview of students prior to start and finally matriculation.Responsibilities: Acquires and demonstrates a thorough knowledge of Sonoran University's mission, history, degree programs, admission policy, and application procedures, and the naturopathic medical profession. Maintains a positive work environment by conducting oneself and communicating in a manner that is conducive to promoting an atmosphere of cooperation with students, patients, peers, faculty, and administration. Communicates effectively with Sonoran University Partners to ensure a seamless online application process. Verifies accuracy, validity, and completion of prospective student records in CRM, proofreading computer display or other applicable methods, making corrections where necessary. Disseminate information to Sonoran University partner, Director of Admissions, and respective academic program deans or directors. Cultivates student prospect pool resulting from assigned administrative duties and documentation, attendance at assigned recruitment events, on-campus programs such as Open Houses, or other activities as assigned by the Admissions Director. This cultivation includes a broad range of follow-up activities, including phone and written correspondence, telemarketing projects, coordinating and communicating the flow of information to students from key University offices, such as Financial Aid, Student Life, and Academic Affairs, to ensure the highest yield possible at each stage of the prospect to the enrolled student. Oversees the prospective student interview process and admission decision process for online students, including tracking outstanding requirements for matriculated students. Attends regularly scheduled Admission Staff meetings and other appropriate meetings as required by committee assignments. Maintains a weekly report of activities, including phone and written correspondence, visitations, on-campus programs, interviews, applications, and other relevant information required by the Admissions Office. Responsible for contacting/nurturing lead generated inquires for the Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine Program as needed. Other duties as required Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree in education, Marketing, Psychology, Communication, Business Administration, etc. or a related field One year experience in admissions, recruitment, or retention desired Or any equivalent combination of education and/or experienceKnowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  • Knowledge of academic institutions
  • Knowledge of the principles and practices of recruiting and/or retention
  • Proficiency in oral and written communication
  • Strong interpersonal and public relations skills
  • Ability to work independently with good judgment
  • Detail oriented and organizational skills
  • Computer proficient (MS Office Suite)
  • Excellent data entry skills
  • Excellent Time Management skills
