JOB PURPOSE:
The Onsite Case Manager is responsible for assessing the needs of unaccompanied children in care, developing individual service plans, screening for human trafficking concerns, facilitating the safe and timely release or discharge of children and youth, and documenting the provision of services in the case files. The Case Manager will work primarily to help unify unaccompanied children who are residing at Pecos Children's Center in Pecos, Texas.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree in the behavioral sciences, human services or social services fields.
EXPERIENCE: At least 2 years progressive employment experience that demonstrates supervisory and case management experience. Must be bilingual in Spanish and English; able to read, write and verbally communicate and be 21 years or older. Knowledge of Federal, State and agency regulations preferred. Knowledge of adolescent developmental issues, trauma, abuse and neglect, substance abuse and dependence, delinquency, peer influence, and related group and individual interventions preferred. ORR experience preferred.
ATTENDANCE: Must maintain regular and acceptable attendance at such level as is determined in the employer's sole discretion.
LICENSES: Driver's License with clear record.
VEHICLE: Must have daily use of a vehicle without prior notice.
OTHER: Must be available and willing to travel to various locations including Pecos Children's Center with such frequency as the business need dictates. Must not pose a direct threat or significant risk of substantial harm to the safety or health of himself/herself or others.
EXCEPTIONS TO THESE CRITERIA MUST BE APPROVED BY THE DEPARTMENT HEAD.
