This is an Onsite position and no relocation assistance us provided.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Review and approve AUSS hot work permits
- Submit FAR's for fire sprinkler system inspections, repairs and project work
- Provide projected fire alarm system spend estimates to management, review/approve vendor invoicing and document actual fire alarm system spend
- Manage fire alarm system capital projects (determine need, order material and coordinate install)
- Schedule internal contractor support as required
- Provide fire alarm system training as required (operations and internal contractors)
- Manage sponsored external contractor training
- Maintain spare critical parts inventory
- Support EHS (audits and evacuation drills)
- Submit AFD TCE annual test reports
- Support engineering and design (research and field verification only)
- Annual fire door inspections w/third party vendor
- Notifier fire alarm system programming experience (zone logic and network programming)
- Monthly Data center Fire suppression visual inspections
Requirements:
- Current state of Texas APS (Alarm Planning Superintendent License) or able to obtain NICET level 3 or ESA level 3 within 60-90 days in order to apply for APS
- Current state of Texas FAL (Fire Alarm License) or NICET Fire alarm level 2 which qualifies for FAL
- Test, inspect, maintain and repair fire alarm system
- Schedule, coordinate and supervise fire alarm system annual inspection and testing
- Maintain and repair fire alarm system
- Provide 24/7 on-call support for AUSS fire alarm systems
- Schedule, coordinate and supervise AUSS fire suppression systems semi-annual inspections
- Support AUSS fire sprinkler system semi-annual inspections
- Support AUSS fire sprinkler system repairs (manage daily activities)
- Coordinate fire alarm system activity with internal customers (attend Meetings as necessary)
- Schedule and coordinate fire alarm system repairs requiring outside vendor support
