Job Description:
Overview:IntelliBridge is an award-winning national security company looking for an Open Source Intelligence Analyst to support a federal law enforcement client's Open Source Intelligence Program focused on detecting threats to specific people, locations, and events. As an Open Source Intelligence Analyst, you will use Boolean logic, automated search tools, and other research skills to find, analyze, and disseminate potential threats in social media, news sites, forums, and other open source sources. You will also review, write, and disseminate threat information discovered by Open Source Monitoring Specialists on the team. The threats you disseminate will be used by security and law enforcement personnel worldwide to increase the safety of specific people, locations, and events. Shift work will be required (6pm-6:15am, 4 shifts on/4 shifts off), and following an initial training period, you may work remotely 2 days per week.As a direct employee of IntelliBridge, you would receive a benefit package that includes health/dental/vision insurance coverage, 401K with company match, PTO & paid holidays, and annual tuition/training assistance. Responsibilities/Duties:
  • Conduct open source monitoring, research, and support to overseas personnel, domestic investigative offices, protection details, and external consumers
  • Author or contribute to open source intelligence products
  • Quickly, clearly, and concisely communicate potential threats and other relevant information
  • Utilize numerous datasets, specialized tools, and advanced techniques to identify potential threats
  • Review incoming open source information to assess the accuracy, credibility, validity, and relevance of known media sources
  • Review potential threats identified by Open Source Monitoring Specialists to assess the accuracy, credibility, validity, and relevance of known media sources
  • Prepare and disseminated notifications and referrals to other law enforcement, protection, or intelligence groups
  • Provide technical advice and guidance in the planning and execution of open source collection operations
  • Use ad-hoc Program guidance in the creation of Boolean or other query-language algorithms used in commercial and unclassified tools
  • Support large-scale, multi-national events domestically and abroad (if desired)
  • Assist training teams in the development of training modules
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree and at least 5 years of relevant experience or 8+ years of relevant experience without a degree. Relevant experience includes any positions that required advanced online research techniques.
  • Proven open source intelligence monitoring and analysis expertise in an operational environment.
  • Proven ability to manage and support intelligence projects in an international or operational environment.
  • Strong writing skills, with the ability to create clear, concise, and actionable products.
  • Strong interpersonal and diplomatic skills, with the ability to interact effectively and professionally with individuals at all levels.
  • Highly collaborative, with the ability to engage in discussions, collaborate with team members, and produce enhanced products through collective input.
  • Proven ability to meet production deadlines while managing competing priorities and delivering high-quality products under time constraints.
  • A self-motivated individual eager to contribute, learn, and exceed customer expectations through their work.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and timelines effectively.
  • Knowledge of internet-based research, including Boolean logic
  • Knowledge of machine language translation methods
  • Demonstrated ability to learn new software
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of popular and fringe social media platforms
  • Completed formal Open Source Intelligence or advanced internet research training course
  • Knowledge of production of intelligence assessments in accordance with Intelligence Community Directives (ICD) requirements.
