Inova McClean Ambulatory Surgery Center is currently hiring a Full-Time (4x10), seasoned Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) to become an integral member of our team, delivering unparalleled care to our patients. This position is day shift only, no nights, weekends, call, or holidays. Join us in shaping the future of healthcare.ABOUT US:Inova Ambulatory Surgery Center at McLean is a full service ambulatory outpatient facility. We are licensed, Medicare certified, and AAAHC accredited. We provide cost-effective outpatient services using modern, state-of-the-art technology in a friendly and caring environment by highly-skilled, compassionate staff. We currently operate with two Operating Rooms (ORs) and two Procedure Rooms (PRs), and we're planning to add a third OR soon. Our specialties encompass ENT (Adult and Pediatric), General Surgery, Podiatry, Orthopedics, and Plastic Surgery. On average, our center manages around 500 cases per month.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:Scrub/Circulate surgical proceduresProviding communication between team members in the surgical field and persons outside the operating roomMaintaining sterile environment during the surgical procedureConducting and documenting sponge/sharps and instrument counts as required during the surgical procedureCompleting intra-operative documentation of the procedureActing as the patient's advocate during patient's stay in the operating roomAssisting with room turnover, including disposal of trash and linen, cleaning of OR table and floor, assembly and opening of sterile suppliesJOB REQUIREMENTS:One year operating room nursing experience is requiredThree or more years of scrub and circulating experience is highly desiredRN Graduate from an accredited nursing institution, BSN preferredCurrent RN license in the state of VirginiaBLS Certification requiredBENEFITS INCLUDE:Paid HolidaysPaid Time OffMedical, Dental, Vision insuranceLife & Disability InsuranceFlexible Spending Accounts401(k) Retirement Plan with generous Employer MatchTuition ReimbursementStudent Loan Repayment Assistance Program - up to $10,000
