Operating Room (OR) Registered Nurse (RN) - Permanent Role Specialty Medical Staffing has an exciting new direct hire opportunity for a Operating Room (OR) Registered Nurse (RN) - Charge RN in Hauppauge, NY! Salary Range: $112,000 - $120,000 Hours: Monday-Friday, day shift, no major holidays - 250-300 cases per month Physical Setting: Outpatient Standard - Specialties include: Spine and Joint - 4 operating rooms Experience: At least 1 year of leadership experience and 3-5 years Surgical Services experience preferred at outpatient surgery center Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program (BSN preferred)
Main Function: The Operating Room RN provides nursing care to patients in compliance with, but not limited to, recognized Standards of Practice and State Practice Act Standards, and organization protocols, policies, procedures, and guidelines. Supervises and directs patient care in a single operating room
Education/Licensure/Certification Requirements: Required: - Must possess a current NY State RN license - Minimum two years of OR nursing experience - BLS and ACLS poss. PALS certifications
