Job Description:

Operating Technician - UPW

Location: Phoenix, AZ Area

Schedule: 12 hours per day. Rotating 3 on / 3 off, then 4 on / 4 off. Repeat. Day and Night shifts available

Pay: $25hr - $40/hr dependant on experience. Night Shift will get 10% premium to the hourly range.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with Engineers, the Construction Team, Management, and Clients.
  • Utilize quality systems and diagnose process issues related to Reverse Osmosis, Filtration, Ion Exchange, Ultra-Violet Light Oxidation, and other technologies.
  • Perform inspections to verify the integrity of the equipment, ensuring a continuous supply of ultrapure water.
  • Conduct routine preventative and corrective maintenance procedures.
  • Perform media replacement and flushing activities to achieve final UPW quality specifications.
  • Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair equipment effectively.
  • Adhere to safe working requirements and comply with Health & Safety regulations on-site at all times.

Qualifications:

  • Technical associate degree or equivalent degree/military experience.
  • Strong knowledge of continuous processes.
  • Relevant experience in System Operations, Maintenance, Service, or a related field.
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex systems and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Capability to prioritize a busy workload and adapt to rapid changes in work conditions.
  • Strong interpersonal and intercultural skills and the ability to collaborate effectively.
  • Proactive decision-making abilities.
  • Hands-on experience with technical systems.
  • Excellent communication skills.
