About the Role:As the Operational Director for our preschool, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our Military Trail location. Your main objective will be to ensure that our schools are running efficiently and effectively, providing a safe and nurturing environment for our students to learn and grow. You will work closely with our leadership team to implement policies and procedures that align with our mission and values, while also meeting regulatory requirements and industry standards.Minimum Qualifications:
  • An active/current Florida Director's Credential with VPK Endorsement
  • 2+ years of experience in a leadership role within the education industry.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage budgets, resources, and staff effectively.
  • Ability to work successfully in a team environment
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Associate's degree or higher in early childhood education, or a related field.
  • Experience working with diverse student, staff and parent populations.
  • Knowledge and experience with developing interpersonal skills with staff
  • Knowledge in Health Department, DCF, ELC, and Food Program rules and regulations
  • Knowledge of early childhood education best practices.
  • Experience with accreditation processes and standards.
  • Experience with implementing technology solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
Responsibilities:
  • Implement operational policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of our Palm Beach Preschool locations, including managing staff, budgets and resources.
  • Collaborate with our leadership team to develop and execute strategic plans that align with our mission and values.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Maintain a safe and nurturing environment for our students, ensuring that all staff are trained and equipped to handle emergencies and incidents.
Skills:As the Operational Director, you will need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively manage staff, collaborate with our leadership team, and communicate with parents and stakeholders. You will also need strong problem-solving skills to identify and address operational challenges, as well as the ability to analyze data and key performance indicators to make informed decisions. Additionally, you will need to have a strong understanding of regulatory requirements and industry standards, as well as the ability to manage budgets, resources, and staff effectively. Finally, preferred qualifications such as experience with diverse student populations, early childhood education best practices, accreditation processes and standards, and technology solutions will be beneficial in this role.
