We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Operational Effectiveness Process Transformation expert who is responsible for collaborating with different MSCI stakeholders, to drive strategic quality initiatives and transformational projects aimed at improving operational efficiency, optimizing business processes, and ensuring long-term sustainability and growth of the organization. This positions plays an important role in driving operational excellence and robust continuous improvement to ensure the organization remainscompetitive and adaptable in a rapidly evolving business environment focusing on Quality. The successful candidate will be hands on and play a key role in optimizing our operational processes and procedures to maximize efficiency and effectiveness across the organization to enable flawless execution and better client delivery. By leveraging their expertise in operational management, they will unlock the power of One MSCI, driving alignment and collaboration across departments to deliver exceptional value to our clients.
- Process Mapping : Leads and directs program meetings with stakeholders from multiple work streams to map current and future state processes, define program scope, determine complex plans, execute agreed deliverables, and evaluate outcomes
- Operations Strategy Development: Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement a comprehensive operational excellence strategy aligned to MSCI's goals and objectives.
- Process Improvement and Optimization: Lead cross functional teams to identify inefficiencies, streamline process, and eliminate waste to improve operational performance. Drive operational excellence through the strategic utilization of cutting-edge technology solutions to enhance efficiency and streamline processes.
- Change Management: Champion a culture of continuous improvement by fostering a mindset of innovation, collaboration, and accountability at all levels of the organization.
- Performance Measurement: Establish Key Performance Indicators and metrics to measure progress, track results, and drive accountability for operational excellence initiatives.
- Training and Development: Develop and deliver Quality by Design training programs to equip employees with the skills and knowledge necessary to drive operational excellence throughout the organization.
- Quality Assurance: Implement quality management systems and processes to ensure adherence to standards, regulations, and best practices.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and vulnerabilities in operational processes and develop mitigation strategies to minimize their impact on business operations.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to gain buy-in and support for operational excellence initiatives.
- Technology & AI - Research and implement new technologies or methodologies that can further scale operational efficiency, staying ahead of industry trends and competitive benchmarks.
- Investigate and resolve quality issues, implementing corrective and preventive actions.
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, engineering, operations management, or a related field
- Deep working knowledge on Lean and Six Sigma methodologies and tools including Value Stream Design, Root Cause Analysis, Kaizen, Standard Work, Visual management, Process mapping, and Change Management and Project Management tools
- 10+ years of experience in operational management, process improvement, value stream mappings or related roles.
- Hands on leader
- Knowledge of financial services industry and/or investment management preferred.
- Proven track record of successfully driving operational excellence initiatives and delivering measurable results.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze complex problems, identify root causes, and develop data-driven solutions.
- Strong presentation skills with demonstrated ability to influence at all levels of management through clear, informed, and logical discussions/presentations
- Demonstrates ability to communicate knowledgeably and credibly with senior management and internal constituents
- Ability to interpret and apply common sense understanding to carry out a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
- Demonstrated experience in delivering continuous improvement plans for large scale transformational initiatives (e.g., technology, data organizational)
- Leads with humility and learning growth mindset.
- Preferred experience working with Audit Committee members and Board.
