  • Drive the implementation of Thermo Fisher Scientific's Practical Process Improvement (PPI) Business System within the site.
  • Collaborate closely with business leadership to mature PPI coaching tools, fostering a culture of problem-solving and continuous improvement.
  • Partner with Site and Functional teams to facilitate Kaizens that improve performance results.
  • Develop PPI capability at different levels through training, qualification, and coaching.
  • Identify and consistently follow standard methodologies for process improvements to effectively implement solutions.
  • Maintain great communication and collaboration across teams to ensure alignment and smooth execution of initiatives.
Keys to Success:Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.; with 4+ years of years continuous improvement/ PPI experience.
  • Bachelor's degree- prefer science, engineering, technical preferred with 2+ years continuous improvement/ PPI .
Experience
  • 2+ years continuous improvement/ PPI with bachelor's degree
  • 4+ years continuous improvement/ PPI with high school diploma
  • interpersonal skills - speak to all levels
  • Data analysis - analyzing & communicating data
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
  • Proven experience in implementing process improvements within a business or engineering environment.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills with a track record of facilitating successful Kaizens.
  • Strong ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with diverse teams and leadership.
  • Demonstrated capability in training, coaching, and developing process improvement skills in others.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team to achieve goals.
Compensation and Benefits The salary range estimated for this position based in New York is $60,000.00-$90,000.00. This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy.
