Outdoor Cap seeks an Operational Research Analyst for its Bentonville location to work collaboratively developing statistical methods to efficiently and effectively order inventory; monitor and develop approved statistical model methods, and evaluate performance; develop and implement analytics applications to transform raw data into meaningful information using data query tools and visualization software; visualize, interpret, and report data findings to assist management with managerial functions; collate data from various IT systems (ERP, Product Development System, Manufacturing System) to develop decision support service such as dynamic data reports; use data mining skills to analyze, extract, transform, and load data from multiple data sources to produce operational reports, using Power BI, advanced Excel, and SQL management tools; run regular and ad hoc reporting of custom data for research on competitors, suppliers, and potential suppliers and ad hoc inventory, sourcing, licensing, purchasing and analysis; prepare established regular reports accurately and timely; compile team and operational metrics; standardize and enhance reporting methods. Requires a Master of Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering, plus 12 months of experience in Operational Research Analysis. Requires proficiency in MS Office Word, Excel, and advanced analytic applications and data visualization tools such as PowerBI and Tableau.
