Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of all financial data.
- Analyze financial data and trends to support decision-making processes, providing insights into financial performance and potential risks.
- Support the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Assist in performing variance analysis by comparing actual results to forecasts, identifying discrepancies, and explaining causes.
- Conduct research on market trends, competitors, and industry benchmarks to support financial planning and business strategies.
- Collaborate with finance and operations teams to streamline reporting and analysis processes.
- Ensure adherence to financial regulations, policies, and procedures while maintaining accurate financial documentation.
- Provide support for special projects and ad-hoc financial analysis as requested by management.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Excel, with experience in data analysis; familiarity with financial software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or QuickBooks) is a plus.
- Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills to present financial data clearly to both financial and non-financial stakeholders.
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in preparing financial reports and analyzing data.
- Team Collaboration: Ability to work in a collaborative team environment and contribute to cross-functional projects.
- Time Management: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Experience: 1+ years of experience in a financial analysis role, with internship experience in a finance department is preferred.
