In this role, you will support the Product, Operations, and Supply Chain team to help improve transparency and predictability of our costs of goods sold (COGS), thus enabling pricing and go-to-market decisions for our current and future product lines. The role requires an individual who can pull data, organize, and analyze it to drive decisions. Key Responsibilities
- Collects and analyzes quantitative data to develop relevant reports that drive cost reductions or profit improvement.
- The position focuses on analyzing commodity markets, conducting spend analysis, opportunity assessments, savings quantification, validation, project tracking, and reporting.
- Prepares and analyzes supplier data, including category spend and usage, marketplace demographics, and product cost structure.
- Models financial trade-offs and implications of key inventory management and product availability metrics.
- Manages and improves commodity and input price tracking for finished goods purchased from RTC's network of contract manufacturers.
- Coordinates and tracks achievement of key contract financial commitments and partnering with stakeholders to action against any gaps.
- Coordinates and provides financial inputs for monthly and quarterly business reviews, operating plans, and project-related deep dives.
- Translates large amounts of data into useful information and actionable items.
- Manages tight deadlines, prioritizes workload, and achieves effective results in a fast-paced, dynamic, ever-growing, and often ambiguous environment; effective multi-tasking skills are vital.
- Develops and maintains reporting tools that ensure that management has access to accurate and timely information.
- Creates dashboards to track and measure sourcing department performance measurements.
- Review internal and external Excel data, evaluating and communicating anomalies and opportunities.
- Ad-hoc analysis as required.
- Special projects are required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics, supply chain.
- Seeking someone with 2-4 years of experience.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.
- Excellent analytical, interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills are a must.
- Ability to think creatively, highly driven, self-motivated, and intellectually curious.
- Ability to collaborate, lead/facilitate meetings, and develop/maintain relationships across the organization to enable effective completion of business objectives.
- Sound business judgment and ability to present data in an influential way.
- Strong knowledge of statistical modeling and testing techniques is a plus.
- Advanced quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
