Location:4910 Tiedeman Road - Brooklyn, Ohio 44144JOB BRIEF (PURPOSE)Plays a role in providing ongoing production support, project support, business analysis and subject matter expertise for Katabat and other Default based applications. Independently drives assigned initiatives to successful conclusions within established time and budget goals.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Performs business analysis for collection applications in Loan Services; applications include Katabat, mainframe, PC, distributed systems, databases, and/or web-based applications. Plays a role in providing ongoing production support for Loan Services' loan applications and processes; acts as first line of contact for user reported inquiries and problems; performs problem reporting, tracking, resolution, root cause analysis and identification of preventative measures. Chairs problem and enhancement review meetings with business partners, including Loan Services Functional Teams, Operational Balance & Control, Key Technology, Risk, and Vendors. Leads and coordinates small projects and initiatives; provides subject matter expertise, business analysis and support for small to large scale projects, including but not limited to analyzing and defining scope and business requirements, identifying and resolving project issues, testing, implementing and supporting installations. Acts as system consultant to Loan Services Functional Areas and Lines of Business relative to new products and initiatives. Translates business needs and requirements to Technology partners; translates technical material to the Loan Services Process Areas and Lines of Business. Maintains knowledge and expertise in Loan Services processes, supporting applications and their interfaces. Builds relationships and communicates effectively with the Loan Services Process Areas, Lines of Business, Key Technology, Vendors and other Support Partners.MARGINAL OR PERIPHERAL FUNCTIONS Cross-train to ensure full coverage of applications and functions. Independently seek out learning opportunities to develop oneself. Mentors other business analysts to enhance their knowledge and experience, resulting in higher performance; identifies and provides learning opportunities to other business analysts.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree in Business/related field or equivalent work experience. Demonstrated technology/systems aptitude. Proven ability to build successful working relationships with clients and partners. Proven ability to lead small projects and initiatives to successful completion. Excellent organization skills including the proven ability to plan, schedule, coordinate and implement initiatives.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS 2 years system admin experience. Knowledge of Loan Services workflow and practices. Collections/Default Operations experience Experience creating and documenting business processes. Knowledge of lending regulations. Project management experience, training or exposure, including experience using Workfront (fka AtTask). Lean, Six Sigma, Agile certification or experience.COMPETENCIES/SKILLS Demonstrated critical thinking and problem solving skills. Strong decision making skills; demonstrated ability to simplify/improve work processes, anticipate/prevent problems, analyze information/issues and use financial/quantitative data. Effective at learning about business processes and translating that into how systems can benefit the business. Keen ability to grasp new concepts and processes. Proven ability to build successful working relationships with clients and partners. Proven ability to take initiative in a changing environment. Demonstrates behavior consistent with Key Technology & Operations culture and Key Values.
