Onsite A leading automotive company based in Cohasset, MN is seeking a dynamic and fast-paced Operations and Accounting Administrator - Office Manager. This role involves overseeing key administrative and operational functions, with a focus on financial management, team coordination, and process improvement. The position requires a strong background in accounting and payroll, along with experience managing a small team and ensuring compliance with organizational policies. Responsibilities include preparing financial reports, reconciling accounts, supporting HR processes, and maintaining efficient workflows across departments. Ideal candidates excel in communication, organization, and problem-solving, thriving in a collaborative environment while managing diverse tasks and priorities. Accounting Operations Specialist Responsibilities:
  • Manage all accounting and financial operations
  • Provide HR support
  • Oversee a team of three: receptionist, car biller, and title clerk, providing guidance and support
  • Collaborate with dealership managers to ensure operational efficiency, including scheduling, inventory management, and process improvements
  • Act as the point of contact for various departments, ensuring smooth communication and follow-ups
  • Utilize systems such as Paylocity and CDK for dealer management and reporting
  • Support organizational growth by maintaining accuracy, prioritizing tasks, and managing deadlines effectively
Accounting Operations Specialist Requirements:
  • Minimum of 3-5 years in a similar role, preferably in the automotive industry
  • Proficient in payroll processing, AP/AR, and financial statement preparation
  • Strong organizational, time-management, and communication abilities
  • Proven ability to lead a team and collaborate with diverse stakeholders
  • Experience with dealer management systems (e.g., CDK) is preferred
  • Bachelor s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
  • Valid driver s license required
