The Head of Operations is seeking a driven individual to support the ongoing establishment and management of the operational footprint of ChemCapital, including delivering operational services to our ventures. The role will also support the design and role-out of internal communications practices to support the enterprise-wide understanding of ChemCapital.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions): - Partner with the Head of Operations to design and execute internal communications initiatives across departments via key internal communications platforms and channels, including intranet, email, and Viva Engage, to ensure ChemCapital business strategy, objectives, and opportunities for engagement are well-communicated across the Chemonics' family of companies.
- Support the creation of multimedia content for a variety of internal audiences in the form of video, written passages, and PowerPoints. Will work closely with the Head of Strategy and Vice President to produce board-facing content.
- Ensure smooth daily operations via creating/refining internal processes, including processes that govern service delivery to ventures. Conduct analyses to identify root causes of issues, use insights from operations research and data to implement solutions, and drive performance improvements.
- Manage end-to-end payment processes, expense report reimbursement, and timesheets processing for ChemCapital and its ventures. Support, as needed, with monthly/quarterly and year-end financial reporting to meet corporate requirements.
- Manage end-to-end recruitment process including job ad posting, resume screening, panel interviews, reference checks, and offers for ChemCapital and its ventures. Support the onboarding of staff including contributing to the creation of a standard onboarding program.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with core supporting functions such as HR, IT, Finance & Accounting, to ensure that cross-departmental support in executing objectives is appropriately planned, scheduled & coordinated.
Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty and responsibility satisfactorily. The qualifications listed below are representative of the required knowledge, skills, and/or abilities needed to perform the principal duties.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience required, advanced degree preferred.
- Three (3) to five (5) years of relevant experience in operational development.
