The primary responsibility of this role is to oversee the operational aspects of CalCogs inventory management system (SAGE300). This role is responsible for monitoring and reporting on the status of the inventory system and providing solutions for any system or process challenge related to inventory or the inventory system.As a senior member of the Operations team, the post holder is responsible for assisting with day-to-day operational tasks, which may include working within the warehouse, production, facilities, and distribution areas.The post holder is also responsible for complying with company operating policies and procedures that achieve safe, regulatory compliant, efficient, cost-effective facility operations and meet customer service expectations.As an Operations Specialist the post holder must be able to work independently on all assigned operational tasks with minimal supervision, transitioning between multiple assigned tasks throughout the workday.The post holder shall have good communication skills, both written and verbal.ResponsibilitiesEnsure that transactions that impact inventory or operational process are being properly processed within SAGE300.Train team members to ensure correct understanding of SAGE300 process.Write SOPs and work instructions as needed to help ensure the team properly executes on SAGE300 transactions.Design and run SAGE300 reports to evaluate the status of the inventory records.Escalate to management and observed issues that impact SAGE300 and provide options for solutions.Coordinate with IT, Finance, QA and other departments as needed to ensure SAGE300 processes are meeting the needs of the business and our clients.Assist with overseeing day-to-day operational tasks and processes as needed.Maintain high standard of quality and attention to detail while performing operations activities.Must be able to attain a high level of competency working with CalCogs inventory management system.Must be able to function as a back up to site management on an as needed basis.Any other duties as assigned to support US operations.Responsible for following all CalCog Standard Operation Procedures (SOP), work instructions and other policies and procedures.Work with Quality Assurance department on applicable investigation and continuous improvement initiatives.Work extended hours as required.Physical Demands of the positionManual lifting will be required.Standing for long periods of time with frequent lifting, reaching, pushing, pulling, stooping, bending and climbing.Ability to work in various temperature ranges for extended periods with appropriate protective clothing. Qualifications / ExperienceHigh School Diploma or equivalent, bachelor's degree preferred5+ years experience in fast paced environment is preferred.Previous experience in regulated industry is required.Knowledge of various computer applications, such as Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and Outlook. Required Competencies and SkillsOrganizational skills with multitasking capabilities.High competency working with computer systems.Ability to understand SOPs and apply to assigned tasks.Flexible, enthusiastic and reliable to work in a fast-paced environment.Must have very high attention to detail with the ability to match multi digit numbers.
