What We Are Looking For
The Mayborn Museum's Operations and Science Fair Coordinator will serve a dual role coordinating the Central Texas Regional Science and Engineering Fair and supporting the Museum Operations and Store Manager. Responsibilities include managing the administrative needs of the museum, streamlining financial processes and procedures as directed by the Operations Manager, and ensuring effective communication among museum teams.
An Associate's degree and two years of relevant work experience are required. A Bachelor's degree and four years of relevant work experience are preferred.
A combination of education and experience will be considered in lieu of the degree requirement.
* All applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

What You Will Do
Central Texas Regional Science and Engineering Fair Coordination
* Lead the coordination of the annual Science and Engineering Fair events in collaboration with the board, teachers, judges, volunteers, special award organizations, Baylor support offices, and the public
* Support the Science and Engineering Fair Board by organizing and leading all pre-event meetings, ensuring all event needs are clearly understood
* Prepare agendas, compile meeting packets, and take minutes for all pre-event meetings
* Use Smartsheet to coordinate and share event information, keeping Senior Management informed of all event details
* Manage logistics for the annual Fall Teachers Workshop and the Science and Engineering Fair, including processing registrations, arranging physical layout of tables, chairs, and signage, and coordinating setup and teardown of events
* Produce Judges Notebooks, the Fair Program, and manage the Awards Ceremony
* Oversee all financial aspects of the Science and Engineering Fair, including deposits of registration fees and donations, and vendor payments
* Coordinate with the Broader Impacts and Volunteer Engagement Manager for the annual Junior Science Fair
Museum Operations Support
* Oversee and train staff on Relay Pro System, maintaining and communicating updated information and troubleshooting as necessary. (Mayborn's Communication Tool for Security and Safety of staff and visitors)
* Organize and coordinate meetings, including logistics, materials, and catering as needed
* Manage office supply and equipment inventory
Other Duties
* Perform all other duties as assigned to support Baylor's mission.
* Ability to comply with university policies.
* Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
