About the job Operations Assistant - Remote Excellent opportunity for someone to get their start in the corporate world, or dive into Supply Chain and Logistics! This is an entry level position that will provide clerical support and department-specific processing for our business operationsgroup. You will be part of a fast moving, exciting team that supports a major client. Due to client needs, we are looking for someone to work Monday to Friday 3pm to 12pm CT, with rotating Sunday shift (7am-5pm).KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESManage a queue of incoming electronic documentsIdentify, categorize, and index the documents in an electronic document management systemEnsure that all electronic documents are handled in a timely and accurate mannerPerform tracking functions of shipments moving throughout the global supply chainMake relevant updates of shipments through data entry in the organization's primary operating systemSupport the Customs Brokerage and Customs Entry Writer team to ensure all required information is updated and availableAssist in completing Customs required electronic filings (ISF)Other duties as assignedKNOWLEDGE & SKILLSExcellent oral and written communication skillsExcellent interpersonal skillsPositive, upbeat attitudeCapable of multi-taskingAbility to prioritize tasksKnowledge of Excel and Word SoftwareStrong service orientation and poised professional demeanorWorking knowledge of equipment used: Personal Computer, Calculator, and various other common business equimpmentWORK EXPERIENCE MINIMUM REQUIRED1 year of experienceEDUCATIONRequired: High School/GED or equivalentCERTIFICATIONS DESCRIPTIONCOMPETENCIESBusiness Acumen and Straight TalkAgilityAccountabilityCustomer First FocusLeading and DevelopingInclusion and Collaboration
