Job Description:

The Operations Associate will play a key role in managing the operational aspects of the firm. The associate will work closely with investment professionals, legal, compliance, accounting, tax, and external partners to ensure smooth execution of transactions, monitor ongoing investments, and maintain accurate records. The role is critical for ensuring that the firm's operations are compliant, efficient and accurately reflected in internal systems.

Job Duties:

● Assist in the execution of deals, including document preparation, review, and coordination with legal, compliance, and investment teams

● Ensure accurate settlement of capital flows and disbursements

● Liaise with external counterparties (e.g., borrowers, custodians, and administrators) to facilitate transaction closings

● Maintain and update internal systems and databases with accurate data

● Ensure all documents are properly filed and archived

● Set up new entities and bank accounts

● Complete KYC/AML procedures

● Request updates from portfolio companies

● Support regulatory reporting requirements and audits

● Create / update meeting material, including fund due diligence questionnaires, presentations, flow charts / exhibits

● Complete ad hoc research projects and requests

● Manage external access rights

● Ensure compliance with all internal operational procedures

● Liaise with our IT Team and AT&T to serve as the primary contact for corporate mobile devices

● Assist with vendor management and renewal outreach

Qualifications:

● Must have a minimum of 4-5 years of private fund experience, preferably within a private credit environment

● Extremely detail oriented

● Entrepreneurial / self-starter

● Resourceful - able to figure out how to find an answer / see a project through to completion

● A problem solver / solutions-oriented - someone who enjoys working through tough problems to find a solution and isn't easily discouraged

● Action oriented - able to move fast and use good judgment with limited information sets

● Ego-less - someone who loves rolling up sleeves and getting into the weeds on difficult projects that support the firm's strategic initiatives

● Good at managing time and prioritizing appropriately to execute multiple tasks / concurrent projects

● B.S. degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration preferred

Competitive compensation package based on experience and skills, with a target total cash compensation range of $100,000 - $150,000.
