Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Supporting the core Operations team by:
    • Assisting in the administration and management of the Portfolio Management System including:
      • Following procedures (daily, monthly, quarterly audits) to ensure Portfolio Management System is kept up to date
      • Interfacing with custodians and daily data files
      • Daily/Monthly/Quarterly Data Reconciliation
      • Reviewing and troubleshooting any issues found in client account performance
      • Supporting quarterly performance reporting and billing processes
      • Assisting with System and Data Integration during Mergers/Acquisitions
    • Assisting in the administration and management of the CRM system including:
      • Assisting with ad-hoc and recurring data audits
      • Assisting with System and Data Integration during Mergers/Acquisitions
    • Supporting the team in ad-hoc project work
    • Supporting the team in daily Operations task management
    • Assisting with routine data audits to ensure the integrity of client data across multiple platforms
    • Assisting with implementation of new software
    • Supporting the team in compiling various required reports (i.e., Business Development, Surveys, Benchmarking, Insurance, etc.)
  • Supporting the Compliance team by:
    • Assisting with data gathering, data maintenance, and reporting for both internal and external required compliance reporting
    • Assisting with testing policies and procedures and documenting results
Qualifications for this position:
  • Minimum bachelor's degree
  • Operations experience at an independent SEC registered RIA is a plus
  • Highly Proficient in computer software, including Microsoft Office
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills
  • A solid grasp of data analysis and performance metrics
  • Interest in building operational platforms and efficiencies
  • Detail-oriented with demand for a high degree of accuracy
  • Superb communication skills
  • Solid strategic thinker, problem solver and decision maker
  • Demonstrated ability to drive execution and results
  • Team player, able to work well with all levels of the firm
  • Adaptability and flexibility are required; ability to work under pressure and beyond standard hours during busy periods to meet firm needs
  • This position interacts with virtually every Modera staff member and requires excellent interpersonal skills
  • Occasional travel may be required
