RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS:OVERVIEWCWMD Market Solutions leads cross-industry digital transformation strategy for Goldman Sachs CWMOperations. We collaborate with internal stakeholders as well as partners across a diverse portfolio ofvendors, clients, industry associations, and counterparties to define and deliver the future state ofconsumer and wealth management globally. Our diverse team brings experience from financial services,consulting, and technology to identify and develop transformative solutions to complex challenges.
CWMD Market Solutions is looking for a Vice President to join our team. To be successful in this team,you need to be strong in both strategy and implementation, in verbal and written communications, ableto influence senior stakeholders and collaborate with peers at all level, be tech savvy and passionateabout digital transformation in financial services.
HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL Identify opportunities to develop optimal industry operating models through partnering withdivisional, business, and external stakeholderso Review new fintech firms for opportunities to accelerate digital transformation at GSo Drive adoption of innovative solutions and technologies across the firm to deliver a moreefficient cost effective processo Proactively manage external relationships for GS to achieve the firms commercial andstrategic goalso Provide transparent connectivity for market infrastructure relationships at all levels of theorganizationo Research new technologies, vendors, and concepts then facilitate internal education andsocialization of these advanceso Coordinate the firms vendor management program for market infrastructure providers,which will assess vendors risk management, fee structure, service level, and issueresolution
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE WERE LOOKING FOR BASIC QUALIFICATIONS BA/BS or equivalent At least 8-10 years of professional work experience, with previous experience in Operations, theFinancial Services industry, Project Management, Vendor Management and / or ManagementConsulting Ability to operate independently and effectively drive multiple initiativeso Excellent communication & presentation skills with the ability to influence a wide rangeof stakeholders, both internally and externallyo Strong presentation and PowerPoint skillso Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skillso Detail oriented with the ability to quickly identify and learn pertinent information acrosswide range of businesseso Outstanding analytical and decision-making skillso Ability to combine tactical and strategic thinkingo Track record of scoping and driving delivery of projects
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Fintech background and/or experience building digital products in a fast-paced, agile productdevelopment environment Familiarity with cloud-based technology and application program interfaces (API) Consumer banking experience is a plus
