Job Summary:

The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology is looking for a creative, innovative team player to administer, coordinate, and coordinate the office for the department. This is a full-time University Staff position located at the CU Anschutz Medical Campus. This individual will provide critical office and administrative support for the Operations Manager and office.

The position exercises initiative to achieve organizational goals and objectives, maintains confidentiality, and establishes and maintains positive working relationships. This position will oversee the functionality of daily business tasks and requires considerable organization, focus, analytical, and technical skills. The position directly manages and is responsible for office coordination such as mail, inventory, entry human resource processes and reporting, creating IT help documents and guides, and assisting in troubleshooting complications as they arise. In addition, this position requires a working knowledge of all current University policies that are relevant to business services which may include, but not be limited to procurement, human resources, budget, events, and travel.

Work Location:

Hybrid - this role is eligible for a hybrid schedule of 2-3 days per week on campus and as needed for in-person meetings.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree in business, business administration, finance, accounting, education, social sciences, healthcare administration, public administration, communications, information systems, or a directly related field from an accredited institution.
  • 1 year of experience in operations coordination including process creation and execution and facilities support

A combination of education and related technical/paraprofessional experience may be substituted for the bachelor's degree on a year for year basis.

Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at time of hire.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with HCM or People Management Software
  • Experience with EMS/Room Booking Software
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel

  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees at all levels throughout the institution.
  • Outstanding customer service skills.

Anticipated Pay Range:

The starting salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been established as $55,975-$71,201

The above salary range (or hiring range) represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. This position may be eligible for overtime compensation, depending on the level.
