USTRANSCOM's mission is to conduct globally integrated mobility operations, lead the broader Joint Deployment and Distribution Enterprise and provide enabling capabilities to project and sustain the Joint Force in support of national objectives. The Department of Defense logistics and transportation domain is a complex system of systems requiring unique and innovative approaches to change and improve mission outcomes.Roles & Responsibilities:The N255 USTRANSCOM Regional Operations Department is seeking an experienced Project Operations Coordinator to advance the delivery of high-quality, high-impact technical work for our sponsor, drive innovative solutions, and provide thought leadership as part of the team. The Project Operations Coordinator is a critical member of the team, working collaboratively to support the Project Leader, Task Leads, other technical staff, and the sponsor.Job Responsibilities:Facilitate and track all MITRE and sponsor-facing security and access actions to include initial, renewal/revalidation, and as needed badging, computer systems and systems access and required trainingAssist Project Leader in the production of Government progress reviews including monthly and in-progress reviews, uploading deliverables to the corporate product library, track deliverables across projects, and monitor compliance with Sponsor-directed tasking.Plan, organize, and archive meetings, conferences, and events, to include coordinating supporting services (facility reservation, audio/visual support, catering, security, etc.).Gather project information from Project Lead, Task Leads, other technical staff, and Sponsor to integrate and consolidate messaging internally and externally.Communicate strategy, approaches, and task requirements.Administratively lead and coordinate project updates, status and overall team member communications, e.g. ensure the latest status and action items have been communicated to project team members relative to the project strategy.Work with team members to ensure that all written material e.g. highlights, reports, briefings are well written, consistent, concise, and, if required, peer reviewed.Create high-quality visual materials in Microsoft PowerPoint presentationsKnowledge management for project efforts by creating and maintaining concise, organized, and secure SharePoint and Teams depository and archives.Basic Qualifications:Typically, Bachelor's degree in business management, communications, or related field and relevant experience who can immediately contribute.3+ years' of relevant experience supporting either a public or private organization relative to the key functions above.Active DoD Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI.Ability to discriminate across multiple project problem sets to determine priority and action given current sponsor and MITRE constraints.Experience developing and documenting processes and operating procedures.Experience working with senior staff across multiple levels in organizations, to include Government leadership.Experience supporting a project to increase impact by integrating stakeholders and multiple organizations/functions.Demonstrated experience planning and executing internal/external events across geographically dispersed teams.Possess the ability to organize and manage complex projects or programs.Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to foster positive collaboration across geographic boundaries.Excellent visual, verbal and organizational skills; working knowledge of MS Office products.Strong self-starter who can work independently with a willingness to engage with diverse teams.Ability to develop, articulate, and translate complex technical ideas and language into meaningful and impactful products (written or graphical).This position requires a minimum of 50% hybrid on-site presence.Preferred Qualifications:Master's degree in business management, communications, or related field.Active TS/SCI clearanceTransportation/Logistics domain experience.Experience in MITRE processes, procedures, and operating culture.Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail including the ability to manage multiple complex projects and meet deadlines.Strong self-starter who can work independently and have a willingness to engage and address MITRE/sponsor objective.Ability to deal with conflict and defuse potential negative interactions.This requisition requires the candidate to have a minimum of the following clearance(s):SecretThis requisition requires the hired candidate to have or obtain, within one year from the date of hire, the following clearance(s):Top Secret/SCIWork Location Type:HybridMITRE is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
