Job Description:Position Summary:Reporting to the Director, Finance Operations, the Operations Coordinator will support the essential functions of the Operations team. They will be responsible for recording of donor information and contributions, quality assurance, and administrative support related to work flow between Development, Operations, and Finance.This position is based in our New York, NY office.Compensation:$31.00-$32.50 / hour
Additional Job DescriptionEssential Functions- Maintains donor records and records gift transactions.
- Ensures that data quality protocols are followed.
- Manages all data entry for donations received at the New York office. Manages the processing of all matching gift forms and verifications.
- Works with staff across the network to ensure that all gifts of cash, stock, pledges and planned gifts are recorded accurately into the Salesforce donor database system.
- Analyzes financial reports related to gifts management for quality assurance.
- Handles aspects of our credit card program. including
- requests for issue of a credit card: card request form and card agreement
- Changes to existing credit card accounts
- Maintain credit card holder spreadsheet
- Reconcile transactions for credit cards, when needed
- Monthly review of outstanding checks
- Monthly filing of bank and merchant statements received in the mail on Box.Weekly distribution of Customer Service inquiries emails compiled by customer service in Salesforce.
- Assist with Audubon staff to ensure that equity, diversity, inclusion and belonging principles are incorporated and followed in all aspects of our work.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Experience:- Bachelor's degree preferred; a minimum of 0-2 years related work experience is required. Solid experience in and understanding of donor relations management is preferred.
- Experience in donor management systems or similar sales management system required. Proficiency with Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills, as well as strong interpersonal skills, a must.
- A self-starter, one with excellent attention to detail.
