Join our dynamic team as an Operations Portfolio Data Analyst, where you will collaborate closely with our data and operational excellence teams to enhance full portfolio and individual projects project performance monitoring across all stages. This role is pivotal in analyzing trends, reporting on portfolio and project health, and driving data-driven decisions in collaboration with leadership. A solid understanding of construction processes and analytical prowess are essential to success. The ideal candidate will be an intellectually curious critical thinker who is motivated by uncovering truth to drive impact. The candidate should have excellent communication skills, be a team player, and be capable of independently driving multiple ongoing analyses.
Responsibilities:Continually monitor operational dashboards with a keen eye toward identifying trends and patterns. Monitor and track the performance of business processes and identify areas of improvement or risk. Regularly report out on trends within the operations with particular focus on the intersection safety, financial forecasting and operational performance. Convene forums with peers to review trends and provide actionable intelligence to project teams. Actively engage with regional and national leadership, providing actionable insights and escalating issues as needed. Collaborate across teams to enhance data understanding and application. Work with data engineering and visualization teams towards enhancing data quality, accuracy, and reliability. Responsible for developing deep subject matter expertise on Operations data, incl. all elements on Project Management Dashboard; over time, include generating insight through analytics
Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field, or significant amounts of related course work. At least 2 years of experience in construction operations, preferably with exposure to financial aspects of large projects. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy. Independent learner with a proactive approach to mastering new tools and processes. Excellent communication and presentation skills; adept at simplifying complex data. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Proactive, results-oriented mindset with strong initiative.
