It offers a diverse array of courses in the humanities, natural sciences, and social sciences.Job SummaryThe Director of Curriculum & Governance supports the Dean with College-wide curriculum management, class scheduling, and administrative oversight of governance committees.The Director's duties consist of:
- Curriculum development support for the College.
- Service as the College curriculum and governance specialist.
- Organizing, training, and supporting faculty advisors.
- Coordinating with other administrative teams on curriculum management.
- Supervising record keeping for program reviews.
- Supervising preparation of the Timetable and undergraduate catalog.
- Leading a team of two employees.The Director will also serve as the Secretary of the L&S Faculty, which includes:
- Supervising preparation of agendas and minutes for L&S committees.
- Ensuring L&S standing committees are elected/appointed.
- Chairing L&S Faculty Council meetings.Minimum Qualifications
- Tenured member of the College of Letters and Science Faculty.Preferred Qualifications
- Experience on College and/or campus governance committees.
- Experience with department-level curriculum committees.
- Experience with the schedule of classes at the department level.
