Flex. Staff is seeking an experienced Operations Director to join our client's team, a leading manufacturer of optics technology for the defense, aerospace and commercial industries. This is a full-time, direct hire position, located ONSITE in Suffolk County, NY. As Operations Director, you will be responsible for the manufacturing and operational performance of the site including production, quality management and facilities. This role is very hands-on and will have daily interactions on the production floor. The Operations Director will have direct people management responsibility for Quality, Production, Supply Chain Management and Manufacturing Engineering (about 25 people).
