Reporting to the Operations Manager, NSCC.Responsibilities:
- Act as NSCC intern to support safe, efficient, and economical remote operation and monitoring of generation and transmission assets.
- Work Under the Shift Supervisor to ensure safe Remote Operations of assets.
- Assist in the supervision in the adjustment of real-time schedules as necessary based on generation demand, fuel availability, unit capacity restrictions, weather-related special conditions, maintenance schedules, regulatory restrictions, customer requirements, energy market conditions, planned and unplanned generation outages, and other factors effecting generation.
- Execute work orders, operation memos and other critical documents under the direct supervision of the Shift Supervisor
- Save and organize documents to meet internal and external reporting purposes, under direction of Shift Supervisor
- Perform site visits and participate in leading HSSE activities.

Required Experience:
- Currently enrolled and working towards (or recently graduated and holds) a bachelor's degree in one of these fields: Power Systems, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineer, Environmental Engineering, Information Technology/Systems, Management, Energy Systems, or related.
Compensation: $20/hr.
