**Description & Requirements**
The Operations Lead will coordinate and manage all IT infrastructure activities at the Operations and Maintenance (O&M) level. The Operations Lead will oversee day-to-day operations coordinating all operational interfaces between the deployment of assets and systems and the decommissioning of legacy infrastructure assets and applications. The Operations Lead will ensure the quality of delivered services by the associated O&M teams, and orchestrate, motivate, and support a large cross functional team supporting a dynamic IT environment. The Operations Lead will coordinate activities between the Program, Government, and third-party contractors as needed.
**Essential Duties and Responsibilities:**
+ Coordinate and manage all IT infrastructure activities at the O&M level.
+ Oversee day-to-day operations coordinating all operational interfaces between the deployment of assets and systems and the decommissioning of legacy infrastructure assets and applications.
+ Ensure the quality of delivered services by the associated O&M teams.
+ Orchestrate, motivate, and support a large cross-functional team supporting a dynamic IT environment.
+ Coordinate activities between the program, government, and third-party contractors as needed.
+ Provide technical expertise and lead teams in the design, installation, and troubleshooting of legacy systems and newly implemented infrastructure across an enterprise of similar size, scope, and complexity as the IT environment.
+ Support the coordination toward implementing and executing modern IT delivery methodologies (e.g., DevSecOps, Agile, AIOps).
+ Provide systems engineering support for Windows and Software as a Service (SaaS) based systems.
+ Lead teams to troubleshoot and resolve problems with hardware and software and respond to suggestions for improvements and enhancements and develop user documentation.
+ Address problems with system integrations and compatibility across multiple platforms.
**Supervisory Responsibilities:**
+ This position may require the supervision of teams of personnel.
**Minimum Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
+ 7+ years of experience providing technical expertise and leading teams in the design, installation, and troubleshooting of legacy systems and newly implemented infrastructure across an enterprise of similar size, scope, and complexity as the IT environment.
+ Possess an active Agile certification from an Accredited Training Provider.
+ Possess an active ITIL Foundation Certification.
+ Knowledge and experience providing systems engineering support for Windows and Software as a Service (SaaS) based systems.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
+ Experience in IT infrastructure planning, development, and operations.
+ Experience using Agile methodologies on projects of a similar complexity as the IT environment.
+ Experience using ITSM (e.g., ServiceNow).
+ Possess a current Certified Information Technology Manager (CITM).
**Security Clearance:**
+ Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret clearance.
+ Must be a U.S. Citizen.
**Physical Requirements:**
+ Must be able to be in a stationary position more than 50% of the time
+ Must be able to communicate, converse, and exchange information with peers and senior personnel
+ Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a computer
+ The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations
+ The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
