Job Description:

SUMMARY: Oversee the mold processing operations within our production facility. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of mold processing, excellent communication skills, and the ability to lead a team effectively.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following: Other duties may be assigned.

  • Process molds to meet precise print requirements, ensuring quality and efficiency in production.
  • Collaborate with various departments to troubleshoot issues and find effective resolutions.
  • Communicate production needs clearly to a team of operators, fostering a productive work environment.
  • Manage shift transitions by providing detailed production updates and reports to ensure seamless workflow.
  • Operate the mold press according to established work instructions and routing steps, maintaining safety and quality standards.
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute production activities in alignment with due dates and overall production goals.
  • Identify and communicate challenges in the production process, proposing potential solutions to enhance efficiency and productivity.

      KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES Requires knowledge typically acquired through:

      • Completion of a High School diploma or general education degree (GED),
      • Three to five years related experience or training; and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
      • Proven experience in mold processing or a related field.
      • Strong understanding of mold press operations and production workflows.
      • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
      • Ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment.
      • Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to challenges.
      • Familiarity with production scheduling and planning processes is a plus.
