Top scuba equipment company is seeking military veteran talent for a critical operations and logistics management role. Hand crafted dry suits, scuba bags and hunting apparel. Our products are internationally recognized for quality and our products are used internationally by military, rescue, and commercial divers. This position is responsible for coordinating projects within the sewing and manufacturing departments. The Manager will be responsible for reporting on inventory, health and safety protocols and liaising with the accounting and finance departments to plan inventory and bill collections.They will also be liaising with sales account managers to plan inventory and supply purchase orders. They will assist in warehouse and logistics operations, including delivery of customer orders. In this role, they will be negotiating supply relationships and tracking supply orders to our factory. Objectives of this role:- Maintain constant communication with management, staff to ensure proper operations of the organization - Develop and maintain the effectiveness of an extensive vendor network- Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance protocols- Grow the efficiency of existing organizational processes and procedures to enhance and increase and maintain the organization's production capacity- Monitor inventory of supplies, conduct and assist in supply chain negotiations and inventory restocking - Design and implement a raw goods inventory, ensuring future order points are included and adhered to- Oversee and monitor the goods dispatch department to ensure that finished products are dispatched in an efficient and timely manner- Actively pursue strategic and operational objectives- Ensure operational activities remain on time and within a defined budget- Track staffing requirements, hiring new employees as needed- Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable departmentsDaily and Monthly responsibilities:- Lead, motivate, and support a team within a time-sensitive and demanding environment, including setup and implementation of career development plans for the team- Manage timely data collection to update operations metrics to achieve productivity targets, reduce cost per unit, eliminate errors, and deliver excellent customer service- Partner with sales teams to improving and maintain the vendor network to achieve sales targets- Monitor all departments to make sure activities remain safety compliant- Oversee materials and inventory management- Conduct budget reviews and report cost plans to upper managementBase DOE, annual incentive bonus potential, relocation case by case basis.
