The Operations and Maintenance Technician plays a key role in helping to ensure the companies power plants perform in accordance with our specifications and are ready for shipment to the customer.This is a multifaceted position that is both rewarding and challenging as you will be operating and maintaining a variety of equipment and performing final testing prior to the release and start-up of the fuel cell power plant.You will be testing the modules after the manufacturing of the equipment is complete. These tests will encompass Mechanical, Electrical, and Electronic knowledge as those tests will vary based on the equipment evaluation.Candidates that have a varied industrial technical skillset will have the highest ceiling to develop and grow. Responsibilities:- Perform integration of fuel cell modules, including but not limited to conditioning the new fuel cell, monitoring the startup operation, and preparing the module for shipment to the customer- Perform all required checks to release the fuel cell unit to our global monitoring center for remote monitoring operations- Perform the set-up, calibration, testing, and troubleshooting of circuits, components, instruments, and mechanical assemblies- Determine and may develop test specifications, methods, and procedures from blueprints, drawings, and diagrams- Test and troubleshoot assemblies including final systems- May complete rework on assemblies and/or systems as a result of testing- Prepare technical reports summarizing findings and recommending solutions to technical problems- Assist in the selection and set-up of specialized test equipment- Operate mobile equipment including forklifts, boat cranes, and other mechanical-assisted lifting devices- Maintain physical outdoor work site- Place orders for parts and materials used in the operations- Input data into work management software- Assist in writing procedures and other technical documents- Perform predictive and emergent maintenance activitiesOther duties as required.Hourly role plus overtime.
